1988-2012 BMW M5 um…yes

so my relationship with the bmw 5 series m versions have been mostly love, except for the e60 m.

that car, along with the 7 series of that generation are my least favorite bmw’s of all time.

we’ll start at the begining and work our way forward.

e28 m5……

started it all,

its 286 hp inline 6 M-1 engine made it the fastest production sedan at the time, and they were hand built in germany. its calm exterior added with its potent engine bay goodies made it a sleeping super car killer.

shawty got a donk lol

next in line, e34 m5

311hp, 266ftlbs the m5 was still beasting

this model was also hand built by an M technician. The hand-built m car testers were said to have been able to tell which of the technicians actually built the cars due to certain quirks in workmanship. The engines were also hand-built, and guaranteed to put out within 5% of the claimed hp/ftlbs.

the e34 saw the end of handbuilt m5’s

the first factory built m5 was the e39 version, these cars are hit or miss for me as far as style goes, but performance was still fairly monstrous.

the e39, while it was finally built with almost 400 horses(394 hp) had some trouble getting past designers, when it was first brought up bmw thought the original 5series of the e39 chassis code had enough hp as is, but with jaguar and Mercedes both unleashing high output competition, they went ahead and dumped the s62 v-8( a performance tuned version of the m62 engine.) in the bay and badged it as an m

now on to the part of this i hate, the e60/61 m5, the ugliest bmw ever made(a tie with this generations 7 series)

5 liter v-10’s graced the engine bay of the e60. belted out 500 horses and around 380ftlbs of torque.

on to the sad part….the pictures

one with something going for it

the last and newest m5, the f10 chassis code (even that sounds cool), f10 f10 ooh i like it.

loaded with a 4.4 liter twin turbocharged v-8, that packs a 560hp/502ftlbs punch.

while its not my favorite m5 ever made…cough e28 cough cough, it is definitely an upgrade from the e60 and it has a sexiness all its own.

enough photoshop for a whole issue of vogue magazine but its still fresh

im most impressed by this, a whole new rear end, that looks multitudes better

a little more agressive the silver is supah fine

im just glad to see the e60 platform abandoned and a step for bmw in the right direction

promises swore long ago, yeah its about the Subaru BRZ

so, since i swore the only toyota’s i could ever own would be the supra, early gen celica, or the lexus branded altezza(is300) in america, this article is about the subaru BRZ and not the scion fr-s.

if you all haven’t been able to tell from my previous posts im a german car enthusiast at heart, but ive owned a few japanese cars, and my honda love still runs deep, but i (being a true “car guy”) love all vehicles with a decent set of testies.

the subaru brz looks the part of an agressive rwd sports car that a real person can afford. there’s alot of talk saying this car will be a miata killer or at the very least a tough competitor.

With est specs of 200hp/170ftlbs its not a ferrari (sounds so cliche’) but its design does lob it some good features.

its low, and i mean center of gravity enhanced low, its designed to be a fantastic handling coupe, and speaking of ferrari it actually is lower than the 458 italia, which come to think of it isn’t saying much as the 60k$ Cadillac cts-v wagon is faster than the 458 but still it sounds good for the brz.

another thing the brz has in its bag of tricks is a rwd(rear wheel drive) platform and a sexy overall presence, the car really does look good on the road.

on to the pictures

I mean actually with 200 hp and rwd, any civics at the stoplight should be left well off in the rear-view in case you “hardcore” street racers were interested…but seriously let see an STI badge hit the rear and a snail hit the bay, then we’re talking hella interesting.outtie –bk

bmw+illest = fresh

the simple logo that started it all

the picture that got me 2nd in the contest (only illest tattoo in the world?)

4 door performance

ever since ive been into cars, ive had an interest more in vier(four in german) door cars, due to thier functionality as people and stuff haulers, as well as thier distinct look.

there are several cars whose engine bays have no clue whats behind the front doors.

a few are the sedan/hatch subaru wrx/wrx sti, honda mugen si(the little cousin in the hp department compared to the rest of these cars) , acura tsx, chrysler 300 srt design, Cadillac cts-v, porsche panamer(dreaming way big) the bmw m3(drooooool!) and the mitsubishi evo/ralliart

the pictures are in no order btw

Porsche Panamera/ 944 turbo S

If I could own a modern day porsche it would be the panamera, the only 4 door porsche offered, and 300hp even in the base model.

specs are vast, the base is 3.6l 300hp model(73,000$) while the fastest is the turbo S which has a 4.8l 550 hp output.(173,000$)

i think they are supah fine

this is one of the sweetest cars ever, subtle yet aggressive lines give it the luxury of Queen Elizabeth but the ferocity of a kodiak grizzly.

moar picterrrs

now, if i could own a retro-ish porsche, hello 944 turbo

turbo 4 banger shoving out roughly 250 hp/ftlbs, in the eightys, um yesssss

gunmetal with orange oem's .....art

german cars are by far the best

bimmers, vw’s, porsche’s ahhh the good life

if i hit the lotto ill own a few of each…..come on powerball

royal enfield g5 classic

um hello post ww2 era motorcycle made in india from 1950’s till today.

bullet g5 classic, hell yes.

Completely redesigned motor  in 2010 brings the performance up slightly from a whopping 25 hp to 27 hp, but with higher compression ratios itll put out a bit more thrust. but i don’t want this for speed, i want it for style, its a sexy ass motorcycle.

just Google Royal Eenfield for the full line-up, also the parts support for these bikes is unreal, after all they are the longest run of production bikes ever, they’ve had five decades to learn a few things.
